Pods For Cleaner Dishes and Manners Makes For Clean Breaks.

Products Are The Business: Our product today was the new Diamond Brite dishwashing pods. Paulette explained how they will be better for the environment because they use even less packaging than the original, soon to be out of stock liquid Diamond Brite. The new pods with their dry delivery system will work better on food and grease and give you cleaner dishes. It also incorporates enhanced sheeting action for less spotting on silver and glass.

Great counsel about not overselling, exaggerating or making dramatic statements when talking about our products.  Avoid the description pitfalls like 100% this or it’s never that. It is not necessary to use absolutes to make an effective approach or presentation and they can present pitfalls, so don’t do it. The truth is always good enough.

Ed shared a great story of his newest prospect - from introduction at a restaurant to full presentation after asking for the appointment. Listen to the rest of it here and find out what his reaction was, when she went from excited to 'not now'.

Ed and Paulette also talked about Shirley 21 from last week’s LC call as the e-mail volume about the story was among the most feedback ever received. It seems that not only do we know some Shirley 21s, some of us ARE Shirley 21.

Convention 2014 is only 212 days away there is an energy inspiring video online at melaleuca.com/convention. See it and share it and we’ll see you at Convention.

Help With Diabetes And Help With Renewing The Passion.

Products Are The Business: Paulette recalls for us a story about a customer who tells her about her husband’s recent diagnosis of diabetes. Paulette tells her about several, helpful Melaleuca products, including our product of the week, Simply Fit Hot Cereal (oatmeal) which is a November Special.

Our business development discussion begins with a recap of the recent ELC meeting in San Antonio. Paulette reports that the theme of the meeting was “Getting Back To Basics”.

As we all know, the basics are our Melaleuca products. Do we know enough and do we share enough with our customers?

Two books by R.M. Barry can help; “The Wellness Guide” and “Built On Solid Principles” will get your enrollments on the right track. (There was a minor interruption when Eddie starts the story of Shirley. We apologize as it was unavoidable.)

Eddie then tells a story he calls “Shirley 21”. Shirley has 21 enrollments, 36 in her business and no Directors. Is Shirley a bad customer or a great opportunity?” Click here and find out.

Also Ed and Paulette challenge us with a Call to Action. Answer the call, Add one new contact a day, pass out one new business card a day and follow that up in one day. It’s all right here for you.

Age Well With Cellwise And Lead Well With These Tips.

Products Are The Business: Cellwise has just been granted its patent. Protect yourself against the “storm” of free radicals that are created by aging, stress and even exercise by guarding your mind and body with the patented protection of Melaleuca’s Cellwise.

If you have a personal that fizzled, Ed warns us that you may have fizzled on them. Lead your team and not vice versa or there is no leadership. Do they just want to make money or do they want to WORK and make money? Find out early. Don’t forget to assess your timing in their lives and in yours. It is critical Paulette tells us. Don’t be afraid to re-evaluate if your enrollment is coachable. If not, get the pebble out of your shoe and move on, Ed says.

Do a self-inventory. Where are you in your business in the last 90 days? If you don’t like it, change it. Remember help them if you can, but don’t be afraid to move on if they don’t want to wear the Melaleuca 'uniform' and play on the team.

Convention is in 219 days. Are you and your team socking away expenses?

Snack On Tasty Treats and Treat Yourself To Some Tasty Networking Tips.

Products Are The Business: In this week’s product discussion, Paulette tells us about the special savings ($2.50) on a special package purchase of delicious and calorie responsible, Simply Fit popcorn and crackers. Use them as snacks at your next In-Home.

Ed is Ill and was not able to join the call, but in his absence, Cisco Holland, a soon to be Senior Director joined us for some great conversation.

October incentives include two interesting and useful elements: Half Price New Memberships (14.50) and a Bose Bluetooth speaker that you can use in your Delivering Wellness presentations and for your personal entertainment. It’s all right here.

In our business development segment, Cisco shared the power of networking to get to the next level in our businesses. He told of the importance of using these new contacts with purpose, organization and focus, including a VCP model of execution and creating your own Visibility, Credibility and Profitability.

Remember, it is not net-sitting or net-e-mailing, it is net-WORKING. Paulette also recommends a book (and lifestyle) that will help us all, “Attitude Is Everything-10 Rules For Staying Positive”. Paulette’s synopsis is stimulating and thought provoking, as she reviews those rules.

Convention 2014 is 226 days away (May 15). Don’t let it happen without you and your team. Power Hours are there to help you, each Tuesday at 12 noon and 7p.m. EST.
