Clean Up For The Holidays And Clean Up On The Price.

Products are the Business: Today’s product is something everyone should be thinking about…a Holiday Cleaning Pack Special. This month, a Rustic Touch and a large Sol-U-Mel purchase, will get you a FREE Tough and Tender wipes or cleaner. Paulette tells us about each one, including a list of suggestions about Sol-U-Mel, Melaleuca’s most versatile cleaner. Perfect for the Holidays.

In our business development segment, Paulette again refers to “Developing the Leader Within”, specifically Chapter 4, where it points out “how you create positive change in your business”. You are a leader and leaders have influence. Influence your people positively. They will rise to your level of expectations and the expectations of the other most important people in their lives. Paulette noted, that her mother always told her that everything in life was “a lesson or a gift”. To that, Ed adds a story about failure and its’ ability to generate success. Good stuff.

There is also a great discussion from Chapter 7 about developing your most appreciable asset: people.  They listed the 10 Principles for People Development in a fascinating give and take where you will find that most failure is a result of “flawed” leadership. Don’t miss this.

Finally, Paulette and Ed shared some of the reports that you can access within the M.O.R.E. tool. Things that can make a real difference in your ability to make effective outcalls and how to make them more productive. Stay connected during the Holidays and your people will stay connected, that can begin with adding one contact a day. Do it and it will create Big Time results.

Younger Eyes And Refreshed Leadership

Products are the Business: Today’s product is Sei Bella Day and Night eye duo, which usually sells for $34 each but in the month of November you can buy both for a savings of $15. Paulette points out that your eyes are the focal point of your face, the first thing people see and your eyes can look years younger using today’s product.

Our business development segment with Ed and Paulette is inspiring. From last week’s Connection, they talk again about the book, Developing The Leader Within. It talks about setting priorities - in short, “organize or agonize”. Think and do in the order of importance of each task. What is not important, decide not to do and give yourself permission to do that.

Paulette reminds us that 20% of your doing and 20% of the people you do it with, produce 80% of your results. Invest your time wisely.

Ed also related a story about a new enrollee Chris who is sure to succeed. Why? Because his contact list didn’t just contain names, but attributes that pointed to their Melaleuca success.

Paulette identified the need to read, listen and “raise your own leadership bar.” As Eddie puts it, in the later stages of your Melaleuca business’s development, “what stalls you…is you. You become what you think about. What are you thinking about?

Convention is in 198 days. Plan for it and plan for it to make a difference in your success. Motivate and inform with the Tuesday Power Hour.

Don’t Forget. Learn To Lead.

Products are the Business: This week’s product is Unforgettables. Paulette really breaks down the chemistry for us about this supplement for the complete brain function, under stress (like students) or as we age. She also reminded us that there is a coupon for Unforgettables that offers an additional $7 off, now who could forget that.

In our business development segment we were treated to special guest Executive Director IV Tim Nordlund who shared with us the humorous stories about his recruitment and sleeping on Ed Bestoso’s couch at his first Convention. Tim, a teacher, told us of the value of reading as a tool to become a better leader and more effective mentor.

He recommended our 'Book-of-the-Month' Developing the Leader Within You by John Maxwell and shared the “fine line” between Motivation and Manipulation, to which Paulette pointed out an example of casting a shadow and a willingness to stand in someone else’s.

Learn the five levels of leadership and measure where you are at this time…be honest. You are your organization. Self introspection can provide valuable insight. We thank Tim for sharing his time and his perspective. Now you can share it all, right here.

Convention is in 205 days. Start refining your plans and your roster of participants.
Catch Power Hour this and every Tuesday for a shot of extra fuel in that tank.
