Melaleuca Makes A Difference In Your Vitamins And Staying In Balance Makes A Difference In Your Business.

Products are the Business: Today’s product is Vitality Multivitamins. They are a special this month at only $12. That is a $5 savings, right at holiday time. Paulette also debunks the recent study that says, “Using multivitamins is useless”. Surprisingly, Paulette agrees because they didn’t test Melaleuca’s vitality, so the findings didn’t reflect our patented and unique formulation.
December incentives continue for everyone, including those who have taken Frank’s Challenge. It is time to finish up the details and wait for your check! Paulette reminds us not to miss the January 4th Launch. It’s an opportunity to impress the guests you invite and at the same time increase your personal posture with your group. It is an opportunity to let them see a serious business in action…so invite, invite, invite. If you have earned a “Get Fit Bag”, you must be at the Launch to receive it.

Our business development discussions are one of Ed’s favorite topics: the importance of staying in balance. Inventory your 2013 results and ask yourself, “was I playing offense AND defense”? Was I in balance? Paulette tells us that one of her favorite quotes is, “Every task, no matter how menial or boring, brings you closer to achieving your dream”. And finally, Ed and Paulette review 4 important questions you should ask yourself in 2014. Get ready for Launch and Convention 2014.

Soothe Your Joints And Review Your Track Record.

Products are the Business: Replenex (regular strength) is today’s product. It is an absolute “must have “ for those with muscle and/or joint pain caused by aging or vigorous exercise. Paulette explains its attributes and use, in depth, as well as a special price that will save you $4.89 when you buy the 2-pack special.

Our incentives are rolling and still offer you the opportunity to earn $500 as a first time Director in December. Complete Frank’s challenge and generate big revenue. There are still 15 days remaining. In addition, your October, November and December enrollments can grow their businesses with $1 memberships.

In our business development discussion, Paulette, first, points out some of the “symptoms” that you will find in your conversations with your team during the holidays. Unfortunately, the end of the year can produce layoffs of some of your friends, as companies get their financial “ducks in a row” for next year. Is there ever a better time to discuss a Plan B involving Melaleuca, a company that has NEVER had a layoff?

Ed joins Paulette in a compelling discussion of the nine things, in and about your business that should be reviewed to prepare for a successful 2014. Even if you didn’t accomplish ALL of your 2013 goals, this can help you catch up and flourish in the upcoming year.

Listen to the passion and energy that Ed generates as he discusses #s 7, 8 and 9. Learn from two of Melaleuca’s best.

Convention 2014 is in 163 days. Launch is January 4th. Bring a guest and they will leave a believer.

Your Face Deserves A Superior Foundation. So Does Your Business.

Products are the Business: Paulette talks about Sei Bella foundation primer and liquid foundation. They are both competitive in quality with the finest (and most expensive) retail brands and are a much better value. This month you can save $10, when you purchase both.

Be sure to read the “Vitality” magazine that comes in your monthly Melaleuca order. You’ll get health and weight-loss tips and some great recipes for both.

In our business development discussion, Ed and Paulette remind us that your actions as a business developer and coach duplicate among the members of your team. If the Holidays are your excuse, it will be theirs. If you don’t enroll 2s and 3s, they won’t either. So be sure that your actions show that you are “doing it on purpose”.

Our book this month is “Talent Is Overrated”. It insists that deliberate effort and deliberate practice far exceed talent in successful outcomes within a specific environment.

Then, Ed and Paulette share the top 12 ways to become a great coach. They actually analyze a business within Eddie’s group and share the “hard numbers” that determine success or failure. It can help you avoid, “pulling around a wagon without any wheels”. It’s great stuff that can help any business builder be more successful.

As always, Ed’s passion and Paulette’s positioning will inspire you.

170 Days ‘till Convention 2014. 26 days ‘till Launch. Both are “Game Changers”, be sure your team is aware and informed of these opportunities.

Exceed Is Our Gum and Succeed Is Our Motive.

Products are the Business: Today’s product is Exceed Gum in the new Cinnamon flavor. You will find a special price on a 10 pack that makes it a perfect “stocking stuffer”. Remember there is no aspartame, so our Melaleuca all natural sweeteners make the flavor last and last.

December incentives are so exciting, they are termed ”blown-away awesome”, not the least of which is a $500 advancement bonus for new, first-time Directors and $1 memberships for October, November, December enrollments to enhance their new enrollment opportunities.

Don’t think that developing a Melaleuca business is selling. It is not. Ed could not join today’s call because of travel commitments, but he would tell you helping is what you do, not selling.

Paulette reminds us that Launch is only 33 days from today. It is the single biggest “game changer”, next to Convention. Make your plans.

She also points out, that December is not the time to go under the “ether”. Many of Melaleuca’s best enrolled in December.

Our book of the week is “Talent Is Overrated”, by Geoff Colvin, who tells us: “you are not born to be successful”. It is a result of “deliberate effort” and “deliberate practice”. That and lots more are here for you to share and succeed with.

Convention is in 177 days. It will change your future.

Thank you Dionne Tuplin :).

Black Friday and Bluer Business Skies.

Products are the Business: Today’s product is really a bunch of them. Celebrate “Black Friday” with Melaleuca’s specials. The savings are incredible. Take advantage while supplies last, until midnight on Saturday. Paulette tells us about many of them, including their reduced prices.

Business Development: Use the Holidays to reflect and re-direct your perspective. Don’t forget, Launch is January 4, 2014 so look up the location near you and gather your team.

Ed asks the question: “where do you want to be when you walk in to Convention 2014”? It’s up to you to stretch and take yourself to the status that is your goal.

Use your people skills during the Holidays. Remember that 40% of our Corporate Directors enrolled in December - so the holiday’s don’t matter, if you make up your mind to succeed.

Traditional careers generate linear income, Paulette tells us. Melaleuca is real residual income. That makes a significant difference compared to the incomes of a nurse or an accountant. Ed and Paulette go on to point out the traditional career path pensions vs. Melaleuca’s residual income and the time it takes. Linear income is not the answer for your retirement. Melaleuca’s residual income can be.

As you grow your business, you will be surprised that the “Power of Attraction” begins to work for you. The key is not to pounce on your newfound interests and to use the right language when you explain the business that is generating your success. Raise the bar and you will raise your game. Ed and Paulette explain it in terms you will understand.

They also talk about the importance of constructing and reviewing your matrix from time. They tell you how and why it is so important to you and your business.

Convention 2014 is in 184 days. Button things up now and save yourself the anxiety of waiting too long.

Clean Up For The Holidays And Clean Up On The Price.

Products are the Business: Today’s product is something everyone should be thinking about…a Holiday Cleaning Pack Special. This month, a Rustic Touch and a large Sol-U-Mel purchase, will get you a FREE Tough and Tender wipes or cleaner. Paulette tells us about each one, including a list of suggestions about Sol-U-Mel, Melaleuca’s most versatile cleaner. Perfect for the Holidays.

In our business development segment, Paulette again refers to “Developing the Leader Within”, specifically Chapter 4, where it points out “how you create positive change in your business”. You are a leader and leaders have influence. Influence your people positively. They will rise to your level of expectations and the expectations of the other most important people in their lives. Paulette noted, that her mother always told her that everything in life was “a lesson or a gift”. To that, Ed adds a story about failure and its’ ability to generate success. Good stuff.

There is also a great discussion from Chapter 7 about developing your most appreciable asset: people.  They listed the 10 Principles for People Development in a fascinating give and take where you will find that most failure is a result of “flawed” leadership. Don’t miss this.

Finally, Paulette and Ed shared some of the reports that you can access within the M.O.R.E. tool. Things that can make a real difference in your ability to make effective outcalls and how to make them more productive. Stay connected during the Holidays and your people will stay connected, that can begin with adding one contact a day. Do it and it will create Big Time results.

Younger Eyes And Refreshed Leadership

Products are the Business: Today’s product is Sei Bella Day and Night eye duo, which usually sells for $34 each but in the month of November you can buy both for a savings of $15. Paulette points out that your eyes are the focal point of your face, the first thing people see and your eyes can look years younger using today’s product.

Our business development segment with Ed and Paulette is inspiring. From last week’s Connection, they talk again about the book, Developing The Leader Within. It talks about setting priorities - in short, “organize or agonize”. Think and do in the order of importance of each task. What is not important, decide not to do and give yourself permission to do that.

Paulette reminds us that 20% of your doing and 20% of the people you do it with, produce 80% of your results. Invest your time wisely.

Ed also related a story about a new enrollee Chris who is sure to succeed. Why? Because his contact list didn’t just contain names, but attributes that pointed to their Melaleuca success.

Paulette identified the need to read, listen and “raise your own leadership bar.” As Eddie puts it, in the later stages of your Melaleuca business’s development, “what stalls you…is you. You become what you think about. What are you thinking about?

Convention is in 198 days. Plan for it and plan for it to make a difference in your success. Motivate and inform with the Tuesday Power Hour.

Don’t Forget. Learn To Lead.

Products are the Business: This week’s product is Unforgettables. Paulette really breaks down the chemistry for us about this supplement for the complete brain function, under stress (like students) or as we age. She also reminded us that there is a coupon for Unforgettables that offers an additional $7 off, now who could forget that.

In our business development segment we were treated to special guest Executive Director IV Tim Nordlund who shared with us the humorous stories about his recruitment and sleeping on Ed Bestoso’s couch at his first Convention. Tim, a teacher, told us of the value of reading as a tool to become a better leader and more effective mentor.

He recommended our 'Book-of-the-Month' Developing the Leader Within You by John Maxwell and shared the “fine line” between Motivation and Manipulation, to which Paulette pointed out an example of casting a shadow and a willingness to stand in someone else’s.

Learn the five levels of leadership and measure where you are at this time…be honest. You are your organization. Self introspection can provide valuable insight. We thank Tim for sharing his time and his perspective. Now you can share it all, right here.

Convention is in 205 days. Start refining your plans and your roster of participants.

Pods For Cleaner Dishes and Manners Makes For Clean Breaks.

Products Are The Business: Our product today was the new Diamond Brite dishwashing pods. Paulette explained how they will be better for the environment because they use even less packaging than the original, soon to be out of stock liquid Diamond Brite. The new pods with their dry delivery system will work better on food and grease and give you cleaner dishes. It also incorporates enhanced sheeting action for less spotting on silver and glass.

Great counsel about not overselling, exaggerating or making dramatic statements when talking about our products.  Avoid the description pitfalls like 100% this or it’s never that. It is not necessary to use absolutes to make an effective approach or presentation and they can present pitfalls, so don’t do it. The truth is always good enough.

Ed shared a great story of his newest prospect - from introduction at a restaurant to full presentation after asking for the appointment. Listen to the rest of it here and find out what his reaction was, when she went from excited to 'not now'.

Ed and Paulette also talked about Shirley 21 from last week’s LC call as the e-mail volume about the story was among the most feedback ever received. It seems that not only do we know some Shirley 21s, some of us ARE Shirley 21.

Convention 2014 is only 212 days away there is an energy inspiring video online at melaleuca.com/convention. See it and share it and we’ll see you at Convention.

Help With Diabetes And Help With Renewing The Passion.

Products Are The Business: Paulette recalls for us a story about a customer who tells her about her husband’s recent diagnosis of diabetes. Paulette tells her about several, helpful Melaleuca products, including our product of the week, Simply Fit Hot Cereal (oatmeal) which is a November Special.

Our business development discussion begins with a recap of the recent ELC meeting in San Antonio. Paulette reports that the theme of the meeting was “Getting Back To Basics”.

As we all know, the basics are our Melaleuca products. Do we know enough and do we share enough with our customers?

Two books by R.M. Barry can help; “The Wellness Guide” and “Built On Solid Principles” will get your enrollments on the right track. (There was a minor interruption when Eddie starts the story of Shirley. We apologize as it was unavoidable.)

Eddie then tells a story he calls “Shirley 21”. Shirley has 21 enrollments, 36 in her business and no Directors. Is Shirley a bad customer or a great opportunity?” Click here and find out.

Also Ed and Paulette challenge us with a Call to Action. Answer the call, Add one new contact a day, pass out one new business card a day and follow that up in one day. It’s all right here for you.

Age Well With Cellwise And Lead Well With These Tips.

Products Are The Business: Cellwise has just been granted its patent. Protect yourself against the “storm” of free radicals that are created by aging, stress and even exercise by guarding your mind and body with the patented protection of Melaleuca’s Cellwise.

If you have a personal that fizzled, Ed warns us that you may have fizzled on them. Lead your team and not vice versa or there is no leadership. Do they just want to make money or do they want to WORK and make money? Find out early. Don’t forget to assess your timing in their lives and in yours. It is critical Paulette tells us. Don’t be afraid to re-evaluate if your enrollment is coachable. If not, get the pebble out of your shoe and move on, Ed says.

Do a self-inventory. Where are you in your business in the last 90 days? If you don’t like it, change it. Remember help them if you can, but don’t be afraid to move on if they don’t want to wear the Melaleuca 'uniform' and play on the team.

Convention is in 219 days. Are you and your team socking away expenses?

Snack On Tasty Treats and Treat Yourself To Some Tasty Networking Tips.

Products Are The Business: In this week’s product discussion, Paulette tells us about the special savings ($2.50) on a special package purchase of delicious and calorie responsible, Simply Fit popcorn and crackers. Use them as snacks at your next In-Home.

Ed is Ill and was not able to join the call, but in his absence, Cisco Holland, a soon to be Senior Director joined us for some great conversation.

October incentives include two interesting and useful elements: Half Price New Memberships (14.50) and a Bose Bluetooth speaker that you can use in your Delivering Wellness presentations and for your personal entertainment. It’s all right here.

In our business development segment, Cisco shared the power of networking to get to the next level in our businesses. He told of the importance of using these new contacts with purpose, organization and focus, including a VCP model of execution and creating your own Visibility, Credibility and Profitability.

Remember, it is not net-sitting or net-e-mailing, it is net-WORKING. Paulette also recommends a book (and lifestyle) that will help us all, “Attitude Is Everything-10 Rules For Staying Positive”. Paulette’s synopsis is stimulating and thought provoking, as she reviews those rules.

Get Holiday Ideas In The New Holiday Catalog and Get Back To Basics To Assure Your Success.

Products Are The Business: Paulette reviewed the Jacques Lee Pelletier event in Boston and emphasized how much posture you have when someone of JLP’s credentials raves about the Sei Bella product line.

Next, check your Holiday Catalog for unique and fun gift ideas for your family, friends, pets and kids and reach out to your customers to be sure they know all the unique items there for a limited time.

September incentives are coming to an end. Use the next 24 hours to button things up and increase your revenues.

Paulette reminds us to get back to basics and not to overcomplicate things and make them sound difficult. Don’t rush. Keep your approaches and presentations simple and you will find people are more receptive. Build brand loyalty as you enroll preferred customers by helping them understand why and how Melaleuca can make sense for them and their family.  Also be sure you communicate the value of the Marketplace as one of the big benefits their Preferred Customer membership offers.

Paulette does a page by page review of the benefits with her own example of how to speak to the concept of replacement buying with your potential customers. It’s all right here with just an audio click.

Have You Read Your Catalog Lately? Have You Called A Former Personal Contact, This Week?

Products are the Business: An interesting shopping story that Paulette relates about a trip to the Mall and a “drop in” to Yankee Candle, allows her to familiarize a long time customer with our own Melaleuca candles and wax melts. That triggers our Product of the Week: the Melaleuca Catalog itself. It is amazing how many of our enrollments have not reviewed it in months. It will help you and your team to know the products Melalueca has and the things you need to know about them, including their competitive prices. One week remains for the September, Leadership Development bonuses and the monthly drawing. Get up to speed and speed up your advancements. It’s all here for you to hear and share. Follow up, Ed tells us, is probably the most important element of being a successful business developer. Revisit your personal contacts and re-approach them and for goodness sakes, follow up your meeting “no shows” with friendly calls. Know the difference between NO and not right now, and reschedule with some clever tips that Ed shares. Do a re-contact plan and don’t fear the answers. Facing the fear of hearing no doesn’t make the fear go away, but it makes it less important. Remember that we are trying to help people. Get that clear in your mind and learn how to make that clear to others. Get better at being you, everyday. Find out how with a click on this audio. Register for the Jacques Lee Pelletier event in Boston, by Wednesday and bring a guest or two. 240 days to Convention 2014. Make your plans and organize your team.

Register for the Vitality Weight loss Challenge and win great prizes as you 'lose' over the next 90 days. There are super tools on the website to help you and Paulette tells us how to find and use them, right here.

An Event You Can’t Miss and Make Up, And Important Answers to Questions That We Didn’t Just Make up.

Products Are The Business: This week’s product is the entire Sei Bella line of premium Cosmetics and Skin Care. Paulette introduced Executive Director VI Nancy McHugh who announced a very exciting event coming September 29 in Boston. It will be an informative presentation by the famous make up professional, Jacques-Lee Pelletier. This will be a great opportunity to let your team and potentials share in your Melaleuca energy. Details are right here for you.

September incentives offer you double leadership development bonuses, so focus on those Directors, Director IIs and IIIs and give your business a revenue boost.

The company’s new ARI (average retention index) program is a great reminder to attend to the importance of the quality and value of Melaleuca’s products. Ed and Paulette give us some valuable insights into why, “without the products, there is no business.”

Hear 3 reasons that make the new program so advantageous to true business developers. Find out how to raise your ARI and the ARI of your team above 70%.

Why are the Four Stages of Learning so important to know and remember? It’s here. And you’ll hear 7 key questions that go unasked. You should be able to answer them before they are, or ask your team to ask them before they do.

Delay Aging, But Don’t Delay Using Today’s Topics

Products Are The Business: Today, Paulette teaches us some valuable lessons about Provex Plus. It is an incredible tool for postponing the aging process, helping your vision (especially at night), and mental acuity. Here it right here.

One-dollar memberships have been extended to August 31 and Ed reminds us that reviewing your placements from time to time will “tune up” your organization and make a difference in your business and your income.

Ed and Paulette touched on the realities of summer coming to an end. Yes there will be kids to get back to school, but it also means that those credit card bills from the vacation have to be paid and plans for Christmas take money, too. That $300, $400 or $800 a month from your Melaleuca business will go a long way in helping with all of those.

Speaking of summer coming to an end, remember September, October and November are the busiest enrollment months for you so use those August incentives and prepare those August “newbies” for a very fertile business cycle.

Interesting discussion on the 12 Success Factors; No one else has them but Melaleuca. Review them, learn them well (and when to use them) and teach them to your team. Ed tells you why it works and how it works.

Make plans NOW for Convention. And don’t forget next week is Labor Day, so there will be no Leadership Connection call. Next call, September 9th. Be safe and grow.

Value Tip of the Week: Phytomega

Hi there J

I learned something today and wanted to pass it along to you: Did you know that we have about a pound of cholesterol in our body?  Sometimes cholesterol gets only negative press but it’s a key building block in our body and is essential for insulating our nerves, making cell membranes and certain important hormones.  Of course the challenge is to be sure we keep our cholesterol at healthy levels.

Our patent-pending product called Phytomega helps keep those levels in the healthy range and in the month of September it’s on sale--!!  If you and your family aren’t taking this amazing product every day, please log into your Melaleuca account and read more about all the benefits.

Thank you again for shopping with Melaleuca and being my customer – I appreciate you.

Phytomega And A Clear Path To Your Heart. Knowing Melaleuca Products And A Clear Path To Your Success.

Products Are The Business: Paulette tells us that September is National Cholesterol Education Month, which makes it perfect for Phytomega to be one of Melaleuca's product features. Paulette gives us a lot to think about relating to LDL and HDL cholesterol and their lipoprotein transporters. Listen here and be sure to spend some time with the "Legacy of Wellness" to learn even more.Great stuff!

Did you know that it costs $250,000 to raise a child? Not including college. And, that 1 in 5 Americans are "under water" in their homes. Hear what an additional $1,000 a month can do to help out.

Ed was flying today, so we had special guests, Mike Sewell and his enrollment, Brad Egbert on today's connection call. Mike and Brad shared their unique stories of how their expectations were dashed by the recession, after they left successful careers and businesses of their own. The roads they took to get back are informative and extremely interesting and something all of us can relate to: "Melaleuca's greatest product is Hope."

Dispelling The Myth Sucralose Is Harmful Because It Contains Chlorine

FACTS

The chemical structure of chlorine in sucralose is not related to the chlorine molecule found in chlorine bleach, dioxin or DDT

It is related to “chlorine” that is naturally occurring in table salt (Sodium Chloride), lettuce, tomatoes, mushrooms, peanut butter, lentils, peas and potatoes

MOLECULAR STRUCTURE OF SUCRALOSE

MOLECULAR STRUCTURE OF TABLE SUGAR

MOLECULAR STRUCTURE OF CHLORINE

Dispelling Myths and Surviving the Summertime Ether

Products Are The Business: Paulette suspended a specific product discussion in favor of a dialogue concerning the drama that UN-credentialed postings on the internet can create. She chose Sucralose as an example and dispelled 3 myths about the ingredient that has been tested by Melaleuca and the scientific community for over 20 years.

Don’t let the August incentives pass you by. $1 memberships and a cool camcorder are waiting to be yours. While you’re at it, pick up the phone and share it with your team. They may not be aware of them…Communicate.

The summer is coming close to being over and the excuse that, no one wants to work (another myth) goes out the window. Congrats to those of you who didn’t believe it and got to Senior or Exec in June, July and August. The reason they were able to is that they remembered, people still need money, the bills keep coming in, so the opportunity is still real 12 months a year.

Get ready to make those calls in September to the folks who said, “call me when the summer’s over”. Listen below and hear great suggestions on what to say when you pick up the phone.

Review your database of your personally enrolled customers often, because things in people’s lives change quickly. You may be pleasantly surprised by the reaction of those you re-contact. Paulette reminds us that "everything moves at the speed of trust."

Ed shares, that his wife, Teresa has lost 12lbs. in the last three months and, incredibly didn’t exercise during that time, due to a busy schedule.

Listen to the First-Of-The-Month call with Darrin Johnson as well as Michelle and Lance Smith as they talk about new incentives for August. Remember $1 memberships make it even more risk free to try our products and to explore Melaleuca as a business.

Melaleuca’s success as a company could not be what it is without the quality and effectiveness of the product line. So, don’t be afraid to use the love of the products to reinforce the logic of Melaleuca as a business.

This month’s book recommendation is consistent with those thoughts. When is the last time you picked up your copy of “A Legacy Of Wellness”? Do you have a copy? If you don’t you should get one…if you do, you should read it from time to time.

Also, R.M. Barry’s “Wellness Guide” and “Built on Solid Principles” are powerful tools that all Marketing Executives should read and use as reference.

Ed and Paulette have a great discussion here about the language of the business. MLM’s have their own language. Avoid it and you will avoid being identified that way. Our business model, Consumer Direct Marketing, has its own language, too. Learn it well and remember, “the right words produce the right results.”

Don’t forget, Melaleuca is providing us with a host of resources and information like the Power Hour every Tuesday, and McKay’s visits around the country. Find a way to take advantage of them and make your plans now for Convention 2014, which is in 282 days.

Value Tip of the Week: Body Satin

Hi there J

I just heard some interesting information and wanted to pass it along to you.

Did you know that the average woman loses a pint of moisture from her skin each day?

Melaleuca’s Body Satin Body Lotion & Body Wash has a proprietary blend of natural ingredients that lock in moisture with naturally derived carbohydrates that actually mimics the skin’s own chemistry with Pentavitin technology--!  And it also has ButterSilk beads that feed your skin with a daily dose of vitamins & botanicals.

Another great benefit is our Body Satin Bath and Shower Gels are 100% soap-free – they are made with glycerin and the lather comes from coconut oil.

I love them and they leave my skin soft & supple all day.

Thought you might enjoy those little nuggets J

Thank you again for being my customer – I appreciate you.

Men…Don’t Be Afraid To Use Sei Bella Luxury Crème And Everyone…Don’t be Afraid Of Mistakes.

Products Are The Business: Paulette deferred to Special Guest, Lynn Crescenzo, an Executive Director VIII and 20 year aesthetician and massage therapist to speak to us on an incredible product and an incredible value. Sei Bella Luxury Crème, Lynn tells us from years of experience, is far, far superior to market competitors at only $130 compared to $400 and it serves multiple functions in the anti aging process.

There is enough data and information, right here in this audio click; to give you posture with all your customers and your new enrollments.

July incentives are still in effect and you still have 3 days to take advantage. Use the information here to get you rolling.

Paulette told us some interesting economic realities in today’s world. She stressed that creating a Melaleuca business of your own can help insulate your family from the impact of back to school expenses, insulate you from this unstable, jobless economy and help you shore up your long term financial future.

There was a second Special Guest, Lynn’s husband Dave. He shared with us the importance of learning from your mistakes. You can’t avoid them, so use them to your benefit. Learn from others mistakes, as well, because you don’t have time in your life to make them all.

Dave touches on how important Convention in 2008 was for his focus and then, a great story about creating a “Band of Brothers” that smoothed his path to Exec VIII. Share it all here, and then share it with your team.

Only 289 days to Convention. It can do for you what it did for Dave in 2008. So make a plan and share that plan. That will enhance your commitment to it.

Body Satin Makes the Summer A Lot Fresher. Raising Your Customers PPT Relieves A Lot Of Pressure

Products Are The Business: Paulette shares a summer concept of layering fragrances with Body Satin Caribbean Shores Body Wash and Lotion, an LTO (limited time offer) this month. Couple it with Melaleuca's Mystique Perfume and you'll save and stay fresh all day (actually up to 72 hours) without fragrance "overload".

There are only (for you positive thinkers there are still) 10 days left in July and all those incredible incentives are waiting for you to "scoop" them up. Listen here for all the details.

In the business section, Paulette and Eddie talk some sense about using encouragement for your personally enrolled customers to explore and experience more of Melaleuca's great products. Increase their monthly point totals, even slightly and you will find that they are less likely to cancel their preferred status and your residual will increase. It also has a huge influence over the number of customers you will need for your advancements to each level. This is just a great breakdown for serious business builders.

There's a new LC feature that Paulette will be rolling out each week. called "The Value Tip Of The Week" and will contain useful information and tips about products, uses and pricing that you will find helpful, especially when you forward to your personal enrollees.

You will also hear a great rationale about the back-up order, which is usually either ignored or glossed over in the presentation. Listen to Ed and Paulette explain why it is a benefit and a privilege.

Be sure not to miss out on the opportunity to explain The Marketplace. It offers your customers 5-15% additional savings when they purchase from over 650 on-line retailers. Remember more and more of your customers are shopping on-line for everything, not just Melaleuca. These savings are over and above any sale pricing or specials that are available. People just can't afford NOT to be a Melaleuca customer.

Clean Your Car And Clear Your Mind For A Super Summer Of Success.

Products Are The Business: Almost all of us place great value on our cars. “We are what we drive”, and we all want that car clean. The Melaleuca Car Care Pack Special is just what the doctor ordered. A clean car is not only more fun to drive; it helps make your car last longer studies have shown. Find out more, right here.

Don’t forget those July incentives and grow your business with $400 bonuses for newly developed Directors and all the others we have discussed in the previous two weeks of LC.

Paulette is introducing a new section of Leadership Connection, it’s called, “Raising The Bar On Yourself”. She also tells us about “must reads” by Tom Barrett, Dare to Dream and Work To Win.

The discussion with Ed and Paulette addresses the Summertime Blues (and we all get them), summertime is a great time to inventory and assess your personal resolve. (From the book)…get your mind in the Resource State where every problem is an opportunity, not an obstacle. See it that way and keep yourself on track during the challenging summer, by reviewing your “default future”. Where will you be in 5 years, 10 years, and 20 years? Reject the Problem State where everything is overwhelming. Visit the Resource State, early and often this summer and you’ll stay on track, even when things seem to be in suspended animation. In the Resource State, you will be able to see the job through and you can find out how, click here.

Remember 303 days ‘til Convention. Prepare now and review your plans with your Team often.

A Solid Foundation Is Not Just Good For Make Up. It’s Vital To Your Business Success.

Products are the Business: Today, Paulette talked about two Sei Bella products that are usable by women and men alike and they happen to be a special price in July. You can encourage your customers to explore the Melaleuca product line variety and save them $8 on the “duo” purchase. Why not try them yourself. Remember, Paulette says the more products you and your customers are familiar with the easier it is to recommend to others.

The July incentives are a great opportunity for your May, June and July enrollees to get off to a strong start in their business with up to 10 $1 enrollments available to those folks and a super $25 bonus per new Director developed in your business for Directors 3-9 and a $100 bonus for Senior Directors and above. Click here to find out more.

Ed and Paulette touched on a subject that we have all been guilty of, especially early in our business development. There is nothing that drives away potential customers faster than “pouncing” on them, like a zoo animal.

Consider how much more effective (and efficient) it is to use a curiosity approach. Say something about your work hours being flexible or openly use and display a Melaleuca product or two. Once they ask a question your road to an appointment is easier and less intimidating. Relax and you’ll succeed.

Eddie and Paulette had one of the most informative discussions of a seldom-approached topic which is how to structure your business matrix. An effective foundation in constructing your Melaleuca business can make thousands of dollars in difference to not only your bonuses, but in your recurring monthly income.

The keys? Remove the emotion from your placements. Pay attention to whom is paying attention. And revisit your evaluation and placements from time to time with a critical eye. It’s all about ‘doing it on purpose’ and building leverage into your matrix which will not only help you and your business to thrive, it will allow you to help others you coach as well. But, if you are not teaching it, they will not find it out…they’ll continue to just “wing it” and that’s a waste. Listen in and learn more about how you can help.

Don’t miss the North American Power Hour every Tuesday, for information, motivation and celebration. It’s all here.

Because of the Holiday, July is a busy month for everyone, including your potential new customers. That makes it even more important to organize and act. Listen to it from Ed and Paulette and you’ll know why.

You will also find out how to stop chasing paperwork. The appointment wasn’t easy to get, so don’t miss the chance to open their account and start helping them right away. It’s all right here for you.
