You Can’t Have Million Dollar Dreams With A Minimum Wage Work Ethic

Products are the Business: Today, Paulette discusses Phytomega, with a customer example. It involves our concept of “switching stores” and how much people spend in other places. Paulette’s customer was spending tons in other places and Phytomega was the driver because she was taking Staten drugs for cholesterol @ $59 a month. A great example of how to overcome the 35-point requirement for preferred customer status.

May incentives of $1 memberships end on May 14th. You can extend it at a rate of one for every enrollment you achieve between the 1st and the 14th of May. The discussion shifts to the things you should know about Convention, from comfortable shoes to the weather. All things you need to know, if you are going (you are, aren’t you?). Paulette also touches on the need to have appointments set for your return—before you leave. Ed and Paulette then discuss the post Convention summary meeting you should have with your team, when you get back. Share the excitement!

Paulette then moves to a focus on having a “million dollar” work ethic. Ed shares his own earnings history to illustrate how important it is. Then Ed and her go through the seven attributes that create that million-dollar work ethic. These things will make a difference in the way your business grows and, ultimately, your success. Ed tells a great story, to emphasize balance, about an experience with a potential enrollment he met while doing his banking. Paulette and Eddie examine these attributes in depth and there is a tremendous amount for you to learn from their dialogue.

Paulette shifts the conversation to the R.M. Barry books and how important they are to a successful Melaleuca life. They are available on the MGGG system at a special price. Ed says that he “cut his teeth” on these two books and adds that 200 sets of these books will be given away at the special MGGG presentation following Friday’s final workshop at Convention. It will be open to subscribers and non-subscribers alike.

Leadership, Balance, Focus and Flat Spots. It’s All Here.

Products are the Business: Our featured product today is the Sun Shades Summer Fun Pack, which, at 29.99 is a great deal at a great time. Skin cancer, Paulette says and as you know, is at nearly epidemic levels. She then continues to explain these great Melaleuca products, how to use them, and how to choose them.

Paulette congratulates everyone on achieving the “Atlantis Getaway”. Then she helps with an explanation of how to keep track of your points until July 31st. Great clarification. The May incentives are underway and include $1 memberships, until May 14th, then you can extend your own incentives to the end of the month with $1 memberships by the number of enrollments you have from May 1 thru May 14.

Next, in our business development segment, Paulette and Eddie tell us the curriculum and expectations for Convention 2015. Paulette explains how important our e-mails are to helping respond on our calls with LC content.

Ed then introduces the story of Chris Davidson with Chris, himself, feeding back right here and talking about his success in his own Melaleuca business. Chris opens with a thank you to Ed and Paulette and then shares some terrific stories about his won success and challenges. There is a lot to learn from Chris’ experiences. He tells us that attitude is everything in making Convention a meaningful and constructive endeavor. You’ll get an excellent perspective from Chris, Ed and Paulette’s conversation about “flat spots” and how they can occur when you are out of balance and focused on yourself. You will learn a lot about good leadership.

Paulette then makes a personal request that we pay attention to our language on Facebook, LinkedIn and all of the social media. Then she clarifies exactly what some of the language should be. Liabilities You Need To Turn Into Assets…And You Can.

Paulette then share the importance of attending the upcoming Convention with the right mindset, so prepare properly. Use this time to plan how you are going to use what you get from Convention upon your return. Ed tells us that Convention provides inspiration NOT motivation. Motivation should already live within you. He tells us about his daughter (and MGGG’s own), Ashley’s pending attendance. Vision, he says, will create posture. Go there to build Faith in yourself and in your commitment. Paulette touches on “getting out of your own comfort zone”. Use Convention to identify the changes you need to make in yourself and in your business. Then, make them.

An MGGG system discussion with Ed and Paulette follows. The importance of the system is your ability to duplicate your own revenue producing activities. They close with an invitation to a meeting following the close of convention, which will end with a special MGGG announcement.

Paulette, then, goes on to address the aspect of your own personal story. There are no bad ones. Ed supports her telling of a meeting he had, recently, with a couple of Jeff Miller’s enrollments. He was able to change their perspective of themselves. With no goals you are a ship without a rudder. Develop an Attitude of Gratitude. Control only the things you can control.

Paulette and Ed go on to discuss the three assets that will become liabilities, if you don’t address and solve them. They speak of passion and how to develop it. You need to hear this conversation, believe me. Overcome your ego. Learn the art and the discipline of the Bless and Release. Understand the importance of always using and presenting, fully, the Business Packs. Let me say again, you need to hear this. Once you do, you will know why.

Jason Fisher Sustains During His Workouts; Sustains No Matter What In His Business

National Director VI, Jason Fisher joins us and begins with his background in an MLM that failed. He shares his early entrepreneurial bent and how he recognized early that his future was to be his own boss. He offers that having faith in other people can make huge differences in your business and your life. Choose the wrong people and you can fail. Choose the right people to put your faith in and you will succeed. Jason’s story will inspire you with what he has, both, overcome and achieved.

He believes that outside influences are not the determinants in your success; it is how you react to those outside influences that make the difference. Paulette points out that steel becomes strong by exposure to the fire. Jason and Paulette then begin a discussion of the incredible importance of the Business Packs. It is critical that YOU understand their importance and how they promote the duplication of your leadership. He explains, in detail, what a difference the Business Packs really make. If You Really Want Answers, Ask Questions

Paulette opens with an awesome success story about Peak Performance vitamins and a lady that went from 19 prescriptions to 2, using the Peak Performance Pack. Incentives are a good reason for outbound calls, Eddie tells us. We have the Free Peak Performance Pack this month (until April 20th). Your March enrollments can enroll for $1, till April 30th. The business development segment begins with Paulette introducing the Book of the Month. It is “Good Leaders Ask Great Questions” by John Maxwell. Paulette illustrates by having Ed ask some of the “right” questions, like “I’m not assuming you are going to do this business, but if you were would you be a 2 or a 3?” “Would you like to see your business kit?” “Are you coachable?” “What is your Why?” Ed continues with the reasons why these are some of the right questions. Paulette then moves forward with an analysis of Maxwell’s book. She and Ed engage in a “back and forth” that really provides great incite about helping people by asking questions. They review 9 of Maxwell’s questions and why they should be asked. You will gain a great deal from this narrative about the importance of asking questions.

Ed touches hard on the MakeGreenGoGreen system and how critical it is to duplicate your money-making activities through your own team members. He tells us how to do an effective inventory with team members who have “hit a flat spot”. It is important stuff to know, explained by one of the best in this business. Mother’s Day Specials and Free Peak Performance Incentives

Products are the Business: This week’s products are the Mother’s Day Specials that Melaleuca has assembled for this Holiday. Paulette shares a story about one of her personal enrollments, using the power of suggestion. She goes into some depth about the competition and the advantages of our Melaleuca products.

The April incentives include a Free Peak Performance Vitamin Pack (until April 20th). Use it to leverage enrollment. Make sure you maximize your efforts with the free vitamin packs, Paulette tells us how with some great stories. Also, your March enrollments can enroll others for $1 through April 30th. Eddie is traveling today, so he won’t be joining us. Cisco Holland will take on the task of replacing him. Paulette opens with a discussion of the John Maxwell book, “Good Leaders Ask Great Questions” She and Cisco discuss six concepts that illustrate Maxwell’s points. They speak of “Defining Reality”, “Shaping the Big Picture”, “Developing a Plan”, Directing Good Choices”, “Valuing and Promoting Teamwork” and finally, “Giving Your Team Hope”.

Paulette and Cisco breakdown each of these principles and share the ways that they, individually, deliver these leadership values to their team. They conclude with a great discussion of facebook. How to use and how NOT to use this social media phenomenon. Use it well and it is an effective tool. Use it badly and you will find yourself IN a well. Follow up your interactions, Cisco tells us. Cisco will be doing another webinar on this very subject, this week and the info on it will be posted here on the blogspot. Last on the agenda is “When do you present the MGGG system to new enrollments?” Cisco answers the question well. Paulette reinforces his comments by telling us to be kind enough to, at least, introduce all personal enrollments, especially check 2s and check 3s, to the MakeGreenGoGreen system early.

How Stacy And Andy Bounced Back, After Bouncing Backward

Paulette tells how the MGGG system will now contain the “EcoSense Guide” to using the products, as well as other helpful product application tools. She also tells us about the EcoSense Bathroom Pack Special, which contains 3 Melaleuca products targeted to your bathroom’s cleaning.

Ed was not with us today. In his stead, joining us this morning by Senior Directors Andy and Stacy Parker. Andy and Stacy begin by telling us the story of their enrollment and their “Why”. Their business as Chimney Sweep wasn’t providing enough to “sock away” money for their retirement. And, like us all, they wanted to provide for their children, not be a burden to them in their older years. It wasn’t easy, they tell us in detail. Many of our own stories mirror Andy and Stacy’s. After experiences with ups and downs, they refocused on the things they had to do to “smooth out” the way their business activities were being executed.

They give us great examples that include, regular business hours, accountability, and teaming up. A great story which you will recognize many, many elements from your own Melaleuca life. You will learn a lot from what Andy and Stacy have experienced. Finally, Paulette asks them about their “Masterminds” meetings. It is an interesting finish to a highly relevant Melaleuca story. Paulette then “wraps up” the discussion with some notations (5) from John Maxwell’s, “Developing the Leader Within”.

Turn On Your Metabolism and Turn On Your Light

Products are the Business: Peak Performance Protein Bars are the subject this morning. Paulette begins with “Jim’s” story and tells us how she got Jim to switch from “Gatorade” Bars to our protein bar. Then she explains how to use it and why it works.

Our business development segment begins with the “disease” of procrastination. It is the enemy of this business and of most folks’ lives. Don’t over analyze because it will paralyze. Ed tells us he is guilty of it, but not in his business. You know what to do, so do it. No one can afford to procrastinate with moneymaking activities. If you did it in a traditional career, you would be fired. Then Paulette shares 4 things that people do that undermines their success. Ed tells us a story about pleasing “the Boss”, from your enroller to your support team right up to Frank Vandersloot. Paulette shares that her dad told her: “don’t come to me for money and always work for yourself”. Story after story follows that; illustrate how procrastination is the enemy of us all.

Ed shares that all of us are being trained everyday and we’re being paid for it so pay attention. Commit to a schedule and keep it. That’s what business is all about. Paulette talks about alternative careers; the time you invest and the return on that investment. That analysis will shift your paradigm and can get someone in your business “back on track” and over the hump that everyone experiences from time to time in this business. Ed “paints” us a “picture” with a 4-month example. When you listen to this it will turn the light on for you.

Make Sure You Are Doing The Things That Have Made You Successful To Continue To Be.

Products are the Business: Paulette begins with a story about one of her customers, Elizabeth. She explains that Elizabeth was a very loyal brand buyer for her nighttime skincare product. The story of how she was impressed…very impressed with Sei Bella Luxury Skin Crème is really interesting, as you will hear. Ed confirms how telling from the heart makes all the difference. Paulette goes on to explain that the cosmetic and skin care segment is 34B dollars and is well worth gaining some knowledge and experience, be you a woman or a man.

$1 memberships are in effect until March 18th and your March enrollments can enroll for $1 (up to 20) ‘til April 30th. The Atlantis Getaway doesn’t end until April 30th, so there is still time to get YOUR Getaway.

Paulette thanked Jeff Stutz for filling in for her last week. She received so much positive feedback that she thought devoting some time during this business development segment to it. Then she and Ed went on to discuss some of the points from Jeff’s primer from that call. They talk about many of his points like, creating a paradigm shift in your enrollments, building belief by believing yourself, and the importance of committing to team events. Ed uses those to illustrate the way HE presents Delivering Wellness to focus on these things that can let your enrollments know that this (Melaleuca) is a REAL company.

He continues with the importance of the concept of simply switching stores, as a customer, and some of the business aspects of creating business builders. Make them comfortable by removing their fears. Explain the requirements to achieve Director and Director II and the multiplication factor that can help their business grow.

Paulette touches on the new tools that have been added to MGGG system. Stuff like the difference between MLM and CDM (consumer direct marketing) and many others. Tools that will help create belief and belief is everything. Paulette points that out in no uncertain terms. She and Ed talk about “flat spots” and how to survive them and avoid them in the future. Changing is not the answer, getting back to what made you successful is. “What is my responsibility and what are the activities I need to do to fulfill them?” Invest your time; don’t spend it.

Paulette closes with some facts about Convention 2015, which is only 59 days away. Now that winter is gone, get busy. There is no better way to come out of hibernation than to attend a “life changing” event. Jeff Stutz Shares Some Secrets and Cisco Holland Shares Some Upgrades

Paulette was unable to join us this morning; Ed will be joined by Jeff Stutz in her absence. Jeff is a National Director with 300+ organizational Directors in his business. Jeff enrolled in 2008, after a stint on Melaleuca’s corporate management team.

Jeff begins by sharing some of his career development experiences. One of which was his decision to leave Melaleuca and become a business builder with Melaleuca. His story is one of great success and he shares it all with us. He focuses on his own thought process as he developed his business and shares his thoughts on the ability to duplicate your own leadership. He also touches on how important it is to keep your team focused as they succeed and develop.

It is, as Jeff tells us, a constant challenge. Look at the evidence of how your team is constructed, Are they really great or are there just “flashes” of greatness? That leads to Jeff talking about the importance of “blessing and releasing”. There must be total commitment. Part of that commitment is your own example. You cannot FAKE this business. You need to show energy and engagement to keep your people engaged.

Your enrollments, and therefore your leaders, need to know how committed you are in order to know how committed they need to be. He tells us how he prospects for team partners. Their success is a function of getting the right ones in the first place. Learn who they really are and teach them the right way, according to what you have learned about them. Remember, he tells us; much of your success depends on how good YOUR presentation skills are. “Desire, dream and decide”, he says. Then he tells us what that means. My job is to develop a leader, so how do I do that. We have to know what WE have to transfer that knowledge to them. He shares that “Business Packs” help to do that and explains how. It starts by building belief. Ed then thanks Jeff and recaps some of the solid points he made.

Spring Is On The Way, So Are The Allergies. Leaders Are On The Way To Developing Leaders.

Products are the Business: Allergy season is right around the corner and Paulette tells us about a 3 for 22.78 Special on Counteract Allergy. She explains the ingredients, how it beats Claritin in performance and price and the savings you can make by using the Melaleuca product instead of Claritin this year. It is impressive.

Paulette wishes some Happy Birthdays and gives us their e-mails for us to pass on our good wishes.

$1 memberships are back on until March 18th, it was announced in the monthly call. In addition, your March enrollments can enroll (up to 20) through April at $1. Remember, March will determine your status for Convention, so March is an important month for your business. March also means we are halfway to the deadline for the Atlantis Getaway contest.

Business Development begins with the importance of being and effective appointment setter. If you don’t get the appointment, being a great DW presenter means little or nothing. Ed tells us, “Remove their fear”. Don’t sell---tell. Let them know you care. MGGG offers a LOT of information on approaches, including using the Freiburg Study to approach. Get 10 copies of the Freiburg Study for 8.99. Get them and get going. Review the 100 NOs principle to keep you focused. Paulette tells a story of one of her enrollments that is fitness “nut” and how she used the Study to “change the game”.

Then, Ed and Paulette talk about, “Developing Leaders of Leaders”. What that means is people who can stand on their own as business builders. They go on to illustrate the four attributes it takes to develop those leaders, by doing it on purpose. Foster Trust. Lead by Example. Instill Faith. Finally, Build Belief. Ed and Paulette go in depth to explain what each means and why they are important. There are no shortcuts, so stop looking for them. They conclude by summing up the “long term motivators”.

The Oil We’re Named After; The Success We’re All After

Products are the Business: Paulette explains where Melaleuca, the name and the oil, come from. She explains the difference between T36 C5 and T40 C3, among other things about the power and effectiveness of these oils and their specific properties. This is great education for all of us no matter how long we have been Melaleuca customers.

Conversation then switches to the recent S.E.L.C. meeting. Ed relates many of the interesting topics, including Frank’s rowing competition in Asia. Paulette cautions us to take time to “smell the roses” and mentions how many good friends she has made over the years at these meetings. She and Ed also to use the MelaGram that features the Freiburg Study and that you can obtain 10 packs for just $8.99.

This is a TEAMWORK business. There is no room for mavericks in a successful Melaleuca life or business. Develop your PRODUCT POSTURE with experiences and learning investments. Ed and Paulette do a thorough and entertaining expansion on these principles and passions (Yourself, people skills, teamwork and product posture) that will help you be a better business builder. Paulette then shares a quote from George Washington Carver, “People who do common things in this life uncommonly well, will command the attention of the world.” She closes with an overview of the new Leadership Growth Bonus increases. Very exciting stuff. 

Paulette will be posting a new tool here on the blogspot… a booklet that distinguishes Melaleuca from multi-level marketing. This is a new tool in addition to Paulette’s recent webinar on the subject.
